RICHARD JACQUES SCORES MARVEL'S GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY

Today Eidos-Montréal has released a new developer insight video that reveals further information on the inspiration and talent behind Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy soundtrack.

“The sweeping orchestral score, written by BAFTA-nominated composer Richard Jacques, brings an epic, cinematic quality to Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy. Recorded at London’s famous Abbey Road Studios, the score features close to six hours of original music to carry players through their heroic and often emotional journey across the galaxy.”

Richard Jacques to feature at Krakow Film Music Festival

Richard Jacques will appear as a featured composer at this years Krakow Film Music Festival. His music from James Bond 007: Blood Stone and Headhunter / Headhunter: Redemption will feature in the Video Games Music Gala concert on Saturday June 2nd at the Tauron Arena, Krakow, Poland. The concert will be performed by the Beethoven Academy Orchestra and Pro Musica Mundi choir, conducted by Ludwig Wicki.

Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra Concerts

The Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra will be performing "Athens Harbour Chase", from James Bond 007: Blood Stone, as part of their upcoming "Heroes and Monsters” series.

The performances are as follows:

Thursday 15th February – Great Hall, Exeter
Friday 16th February – Guildhall, Portsmouth
Saturday 17th February – Lighthouse, Poole
Friday 2nd March – Colston Hall, Bristol

Richard Jacques will be in attendance at the Bristol Concert on Friday 2nd March

Joss Stone Tour

Richard Jacques has recently been working with Grammy Award winning singer, songwriter and actress Joss Stone, providing orchestrations for the upcoming UK leg of her world tour. Joss played the Bond girl Nicole Hunter in 007: Blood Stone, which Richard scored.
